SkullFace Mask from Slayaway Camp

SkullFace Mask from Slayaway Camp

I wasn't planning to do anything for Halloween, but then I saw Slayaway Camp and had to play it - got it! Played it, and now I have to make Skull Face as a mask. If you haven't heard of this amusing puzzle game, check out the links below. At the time of posting, it's still a work in progress, but I've done some prototypes today for test fits. The mask comes in a main body that will take 8-10 hours to print. Make sure to support the wide strap holes - you can use 2 inch elastic if you have it, or two strips of 1 inch elastic if that's all you can get locally. I've included holes so you can stitch the material onto the mask, but super glue will do in a pinch. All the pieces should fit a little loose, as I wanted to make sure the tolerance would allow any machine to print it without issues. Hopefully, I was successful, but if there are any problems, just comment and let me know - I can post an update or you can alter the files yourself if needed. The eye lenses were fitted to my face, so you might need to make your own. The dimensions of the lens insert are 60x40 mm with a corner cut to act as a key. The oblong inserts are designed so you can glue foam or some custom insert to fit your face. With the straps, I didn't feel like I needed much in the way of side padding, but we'll see if my opinion changes after wearing it all day Monday. Get the game on Steam: Slayaway Camp. Check out Jim Sterling's review of the puzzle game for more information.
