skull throne
thingiverse
A throne crafted from human remains! The skull originated from a now-vanished 3D model repository, its creator's identity lost to time. Yet, clues suggest their nationality was German, inferred from the names left behind. If you're the original designer, please come forward and claim your work; I'll give credit where due. The STL file remains intact in its full size, while the example print is scaled down to 7%. Here are the print settings: Printer Brand: RepRap Printer Model: RepRap Rafts: Unnecessary Supports: Optional Notes: My experiments showed better results with support structures, but they're only crucial around the base. I printed two versions - one with a seat and another without. I opted for the latter and created a makeshift seat from scrap leather. The painted version features this same leather seat. After printing, all that's required is some basic cleaning and smoothing of the skulls' surfaces.
