Skull Stand

This is a holder for showcasing the printed version of this skull. The skull remains steady in its position within the holder. An optimal angle has been selected to ensure all skull components align horizontally. It's still possible to move the mandible by adjusting the head's position. I created this design with precision and attention to detail, following a line-by-line approach. Here's how I brought it to life: I imported the STL file into SolidWorks. Next, I designed a minimalist stand featuring many curved elements that intersected the skull at three points along the jawline. Then, I subtracted the skull model from the stand, resulting in perfectly formed recesses to secure the model in place. After the initial attempt, I discovered that the resting angle was significantly off. I carefully measured the discrepancy and made adjustments accordingly to achieve a perfect fit.
