Scientists meticulously recreated a cast of the Gorgosaurus skull, based on a specimen held at the Royal Ontario Museum (ROM 1247), using advanced imaging technology at OhioHealth O'Bleness Hospital in Athens, Ohio. Ryan Ridgely, a skilled expert from WitmerLab at Ohio University, skillfully assembled the 3D model by harnessing the power of Avizo, Maya, and Zbrush software. The finished model was subsequently provided to the National Museum of Natural History at the prestigious Smithsonian Institution for inclusion in an engaging dinosaur exhibit.
