Skull of a Nile Monitor (Varanus niloticus)
thingiverse
Human scans reveal detailed inner workings of a Nile Monitor's skull through high-resolution MicroCT scans, generating massive files approximately 200 MB for the cranium and 100 MB for the mandible due to their high definition. I have uploaded two separate versions: the Varanus niloticus cranium and mandibula labeled as FINALROTIERT contain only the actual skulls without support materials, providing an ideal basis for printing. Alternatively, the Varanus skull and mandibula marked as SUPPORTSFINAL include entire structural support material intact and are completely print-ready, having successfully printed 15 of each and proving efficient removal of supports upon completion. Both cranium and lower jaw can be readily assembled after printing, resulting in a precise, three-dimensional representation of this Nile Monitor's cranial anatomy.
