Skull Lens Cover

This is the front turn signal lens for my '48 Plymouth Coupe, built on a 1969 Camaro frame. Since my "Hot Rod" never had this lens installed, it's now getting its first! It measures about 3 inches in diameter and could be scaled up for other projects. I'm sharing this anyway; maybe someone can use it. I printed the first version of the lens in white to check fitment, using draft mode to get a quick look. After making some changes for V2, I'll upload a final print photo once it's complete. For the final print, I used eSun translucent orange PETG. To get good adhesion to the bed, I had to try a few times with the PETG. Eventually, using blue painter's tape and slowing down the print speed did the trick. I set my layer height to .12mm for the PETG, but got better results with PLA at .3mm. A raft helped improve plate adhesion for the first layer, which worked perfectly. Inside the lens, I attempted a pattern to help light refraction, but that didn't work out as planned. I'll fix it and re-upload the design as V4.
