I have a Revopoint Pop3 Digital Scanner, and this is a scan of a skull hand decorated with ancient aztec and/or mayan art. Mayan and Aztec art have some similarities, but also some notable differences:Mayan artMayan art is known for its stone carvings, stucco statues, and painted murals. Mayan artists were skilled at stonework and sculpture, and many buildings feature stone carvings based on religion. Mayan art also includes wood, clay, and stucco sculptures and decorations. Mayan art often depicts deities, important political figures, or animal motifs.Aztec artAztec art is known for its stone sculptures, featherwork, and fine goldsmithing. Aztec art includes jewelry, knives, pottery, statues, and mosaics. Aztec art includes a variety of works, from massive stone sculptures to miniature, exquisitely carved gemstone insects. Aztec art also includes stylized hand crafted pottery, fine gold and silver jewelry, and feather work garments. I think it turned out REALLY great, scanned from such a dark piece!
