Skull and Rattly Bones

Skull and Rattly Bones

thingiverse

Skull and Rattily Bones is a small square section skull with intersecting X-Bones that are completely free to move within the skull, causing them to rattle! No support is needed and most well-set up machines should print this without any issues. The bones should be entirely free (as an "X") straight off the build plate. Two versions of the Skull and Rattily Bones design have been provided. One comes with a key ring fitting, while the other doesn't - it's just for fun! If your machine or slicing app has caused your print to come out with the bones/skull stuck together, check your bridging settings. Make sure you're printing at 0.20mm resolution (as this file is set up to bridge effectively at that thickness layer), and if necessary, increase the Z-Scale by 3-5% to increase clearances. Great little gifts and fun around Halloween time! Please refer to the print settings and images for additional information. Note: If you like these prints, check out the rest of my fun and practical designs. And please post images of your prints so others can see! Print Settings: Printer Brand: MakerBot Printer: MakerBot Replicator (5th Generation) Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.20mm / Standard Infill: Recommend two shells with 50% or more infill Notes: Use two shells with higher than normal infill to ensure the print is adequately strong to last well as a key fob/on a key ring. No support required, and a raft is optional. Post-Printing...just remove your print from the build plate, and the bones should be free/loose - they'll rattle!
