Skull and Crossbones
cults3d
My geometry student designed a Skull and Crossbones using openSCAD. In my high school geometry class, we leveraged openSCAD and the MakerBot to teach the concept of the z-axis; introduce basic coding skills; and reinforce concepts such as intersection, union, and rigid transformations. We devoted two class periods to learning openSCAD, then assigned two weeks of outside work for students to create their own object.
