I engineered this adapter plate specifically for my SX-4 to house the BIGTREETECH SKR1.3 board seamlessly. Four millimeter M3 brass standoffs were used to mount the board securely onto the plate. This configuration enables effortless access to the new Micro SD and USB port on the board without compromising the printer's metal housing at all. The fit is absolutely perfect! I employed supports only in the holes for the nuts from the build plate during the printing process. I printed it in polycarbonate plus for added strength and heat resistance, but PETG or ABS would also work just fine, I'm confident.
