A Case Designed for the SKR1.1, SKR1.3 and SKR1.4 Boards A custom-designed case for the SKR1.1, SKR1.3 and SKR1.4 boards, tested with the SKR1.4 board but others should have similar geometry. The case includes two MOSFET modules, a step-down module and a 120mm or 80mm fan. The "Nightmare Rarity" text on the lid is the logo of my printer, but I decided not to include it in the final STLs. You can easily re-enable it or use your own design instead in Blender. **Updates** * Added Walls_3030.stl, a new wall section compatible with a 30x30 alu profile. * Updated Lid and Grill stls for an 80mm fan. * Renamed Lid.stl to Lid_120mm.stl and Grill.stl to Grill_120mm.stl. **Case Features** The case is designed to hold all the electronics, including two MOSFET modules, a step-down module and a 120mm or 80mm fan. The case has two openings for wiring, one on top and one on the bottom. You can use zip ties to secure the wiring to the anchors on the case walls. **Parts to Print** * Depending on the fan you want to install, print Lid_120mm.stl and Grill_120mm.stl or Lid_80mm.stl and Grill_80mm.stl. * If you have normal 2020 or 2040 alu profile, print Walls.stl. If you have a 3030 alu profile, print Walls_3030.stl. * Print everything else normally. **Printing Instructions** The parts don't need any supports. Print all parts exactly as they are oriented to maximize quality, strength and ease of printing. You can use 20% infill for all parts and print at 0.2mm layer height or 0.3mm layer height. **Assembly Instructions** 1. Print out all the parts. 2. Use M3x10 countersunk screws to secure the Base.stl to Walls.stl. 3. Mount this assembly on your printer's frame using five M5 aluminium profile mounting screws and nuts. 4. Mount all the electronics into the case using 2.5mm 12mm long wood screws. 5. Wire all the components, keeping in mind that you can use the round holes on top and bottom of the case as openings for wiring. 6. Insert an M3 hex nut into the provided slot in Walls.stl section. 7. *Optional:* Apply rubber feet to the two corners on Walls.stl section. 8. Assemble the lid, using four M4x30 countersunk screws for mounting the fan. 9. Once everything is wired, power it on and adjust the fan speed on the Step Down module. 10. Press the lid against the walls and screw it in. I hope you enjoy this case! If you have any questions or found some issues, be sure to comment. I will see what I can do! As usual, I have included the Blender file in case you want to edit it further.
