SKPang PiCan 2, PiCAN Duo Box, both versions (isolated and not)
thingiverse
Simple Box for Raspberry Pi with SKPang PiCan 2 Mounted. Since I couldn't find one, I made this myself. After a short period of use, we noticed that the PI was getting hot, so I added some slots at the top to allow for ventilation. I highly recommend coating the PI and the PiCan with a conformal coating if you plan to leave it in a vehicle for an extended period. I also made a small cut-out to make it easier to remove the SD-card if needed. The box is designed for M2.5 screws, with M2.5x6mm screws for the bottom and M2.5x18mm screws for the top. I added small bushings in case you don't have the correct hardware. Simply use a threaded rod and the bushings between the PCBs. It may be a bit fiddly to get in place, but it's an option if you don't have 11mm stand-offs. If you don't have the optional buttons, there is a lid without them. If you do use the button option, I recommend printing it in a different color because the button is not very easy to see. This is recommended if you're using this as a CAN sniffer and want to record an event as it happens. You won't want users to miss the button. The Duo box is fully tested and fitted.
