This mount was designed to securely fasten those widely available 5v relays, touted as "Arduino compatible" on eBay, onto a metal surface with precision. The mount's bulkier design may seem unnecessary at first glance, but it serves a crucial purpose when working with high-voltage 120v AC on conductive surfaces - it ensures the relay remains safely in place while making easy removal possible at all times. For assembly, simply use two M3 screws that extend through the material being fastened, plus an extra 4mm for added security, and the relays will slide effortlessly into their designated slots, where they can be firmly secured with the provided shims.
