Skitzo GoPro session crash absorbing 40 degree mount
thingiverse
New design, ultra-sturdy, GoPro mount for Skitzo frame takes shape. The mount is moved forward about 20mm and angled up to 40 degrees to keep props out of camera's view. Additionally, I've engineered it for optimal shock absorption by connecting the camera seat to the baseplate with multi-directional struts that flex under impact. The front section is secured by screws, while the back gets wrapped around the top plate using zip ties. A velcro strap holds the camera firmly in place. Printed on its side using nylon filament, this design leverages the material's flexibility and strength to create a vertical layer stack that maximizes impact resistance.
