I always had a soft spot for boomerangs with extra kinks in their wings, such as the Janetzi brothers' "Skippy". So here's my take on that idea. As always, if the boomerang flies to low, just add a little dihedral, i.e., bend the wingtips slightly upwards so they are a little bit off of the table (1 mm is plenty) if you put the boomerang down flat. My first print shown in the picture is rather dense (6 perimeters and 6 top and bottom layers). It requires a hard throw and has some nice 40-ish range. Print instructionsBuilt in Blender 2.8 using polygonal modeling, using subdivision surfaces to create smooth shapes and a boolean difference modifier to chop off the top and make it more defined. If you want to play with the shape, the original polygons for the outline are still in place, so you can easily move those around to play with the shape.
