Skippy Vee Boomerang in Onshape
prusaprinters

This design is kind of similar to this one, the main difference being that this one was made in Onshape (as opposed to Blender for the other one).

Throw not too high with a bit of layover. Should do a nice mid-range (35-ish meters) circle.

The wide one is about 3 mm wider all around. In theory, I think that should reduce drag, result in less lift, more spin retention due to higher mass etc. In practice, I found they both feel pretty much the same.

Print instructions

Print Settings

Rafts:

No

Supports:

No

Resolution:

0.2 mm

Infill:

30%

How I Designed This

Designed in Onshape with a spline-based outline and a simple loft between the bottom and top surfaces.
