Here's my version of a PoleMaster adapter for the Star Adventurer mount, designed with functionality and precision in mind. This adapter will securely hold the polar illuminator for quick and accurate polar alignment. It can then be easily switched out with the PoleMaster and generic adapter on the back. I've engineered it to feature metal threads for the thumb screw, preventing thread stripping and providing a solid grip. Two different versions of this design are available: one uses a simple nut-in-a-hole method, while the other employs a more advanced 5mm metal thread insert that's melted into the model. Please note that this model may require some filing or sanding to fit snugly into the L bracket. I've designed it to provide a tight fit for maximum stability and accuracy. If you encounter any difficulties during the first fitting, try loosening the L bracket before attempting to remove the adapter. This will help avoid damaging the model. To complete the thumbscrew assembly, you'll need an M3 screw and nut (or 5mm M3 thread insert).
