Skipping rope, golf club and fishing rod adapter for kids with symbrachydactyly
thingiverse
This adapter is specifically designed for children born without fingers to securely grasp skipping ropes, golf clubs, and fishing rods with ease. It's crafted from a flexible and soft material called Ninjaflex TPE, which provides a comfortable grip and prevents discomfort or pain. Hard plastics like PLA are not recommended, even if thermoformed, as they can cause strain on the arm. Instead, two 20mm wide by 300mm long velcro straps are required to securely attach it to the arm. These straps can be purchased from online hobby stores such as Hobbyking, which specialize in RC battery accessories like the 300mm Graphene Battery Strap. Alternatively, 300mm of double-sided velcro can be used and sewn into place for a more permanent solution.
