Skinny Blower
thingiverse
I designed a minimalist, low-profile print cooler with super efficiency and a low build cost. It's rear-mounted to fit perfectly on the Black Diamond Bowden E3D Hotend by carlymx. However, it should be adaptable to any Prusa-type clone without any issues. What's most important is that it doesn't obstruct the building process in any way. I've included Sketchup files for easy modification. I used a popular 50mm radial fan, available on eBay at http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/DC-12V-50mm-Cooling-Fan-Blow-Radial-Hotend-Extruder-For-RepRap-3D-Printer-New/391767222533?_trkparms=aid%3D222007%26algo%3DSIM.MBE%26ao%3D2%26asc%3D45993%26meid%3D735587e3fb3b436889d5d0d65f38d710%26pid%3D100005%26rk%3D5%26rkt%3D6%26sd%3D132166250268&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851. Be aware that you won't need more than 50% of the fan's full output, so don't overdo it!
