This is my latest attempt at a super lightweight 5 inch FPV racing frame. My build comes in at just 195g (excluding lipo). The frame itself, along with its hardware, weighs only 59g. I couldn't find a frame specifically designed for use with a 20mm FC stack and micro cam, so most frames, like the Hyperlite floss, are still designed for 30mm stacks and accommodate larger FPV cams. I'm using 20mm standoffs on this frame. 2204 motors, such as the Rotorama Katana 2700kv or the 2204 Hyperlites, work great with this setup. This is the stack I'm using: https://www.banggood.com/HGLRC-XJB-F428-TX20-Omnibus-F4-Flight-Controller-28A-2-4S-Blheli_S-ESC-25100250mW-Switchable-VTX-p-1183977.html?rmmds=search Milling instructions: Use 5mm carbon fibre for the arms. Use 2mm carbon fibre for the bottom plate. Use 1.5mm carbon fibre for the top plate. ************************************************ Update 2 ************************************************ The base plate now features slots to secure the battery cable with a cable tie. I've added an arm design for use with 1806 motors. I've also added arms for 4inch props, which are 1mm thinner and have 12mm motor screw mounts (1806, 1407). Additionally, I've included arms for 7inch props for endurance and long range copters. ************************************************ Update 1 ************************************************ I've added fixed angle mounts for the runcam micro and foxeer micro in 45 and 55 degrees.
