Designing a smaller adapter due to the breakage of a previous large one, this new adapter consists of two opposed cones for easy plugging into both a 40mm pool hose and the skimmer's bottom. The cones have similar diameters with one millimeter difference in size, ensuring a tight fit. This design is easier to handle as the tube end stays below water surface in the skimmer. Ensure that flexible tube diameter is 40mm and plug height is 30mm. Skimmer bottom evacuation hole should be 45mm deep with 22mm depth, no need for a tight coupling here due to depressurized flow. Internal structures are added for rigidity but may be unnecessary. Don't forget to install a filter before the pump for large objects prevention.
