Skimmer for mini aquarium

Skimmer for mini aquarium

This is a setup for Mini Aquarium Skimmer. To get it running, fill the skimmer with filtering materials such as sponge or cotton and attach it to the aquarium. Next, adjust the height of the skimmer so that it's level with the water in the aquarium. I'm using a 3-6V DC submersible motor for this setup (search online for "3-6V DC Mini horizontal submersible pump" on Amazon or eBay). To make it more convenient to power, I've soldered the motor cables to a USB type A connector. This way, you can use a mobile charger or power bank when needed. A note: Do not turn on the skimmer while feeding your fish. For the screws needed for assembly, check out this link: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2749041 To print the attached STL file, export it from FreeCAD and align it accordingly before printing.
