Shrimp/Snail Safe Skimmer Floater To avoid shrimp, snails and other small livestock from being sucked in your skimmer, replace the floater with this alternative. Worked for my Eheim Skim 350 china imitation, so may also work with the Eheim Skim 350. It has two parts, the main floater and the cover that snaps in the center. The main shaft of the floater has an OD of 25mm. Printing: 0.2mm layer height, nozzle 0.4mm, CURA slicer Floater - walls 1.6mm, 40% infill, no supports, top/bottom thickness 1.4mm Cover - walls 1.6mm, top/bottom thickness set to 0mm, the infill % and pattern will dictate how fine the grills of the strainer will be. set mine to 40% Grid pattern Note: If top/bottom thickness is NOT set to 0mm, there will be NO holes, it will just be a solid cover.
