Over the last four years, SME and Stratasys have partnered in the Additive Manufacturing Competition to enhance student understanding of additive manufacturing and 3D printing methods. This year's event featured 44 teams from high schools, colleges/universities, and career technical institutions competing for gold, silver, or bronze medals. The winning designs are displayed here along with a hand scan of the veteran they designed an adaptive device for, allowing him to enjoy playing PlayStation; his favorite pastime.
