Skil tripod quick release camera mounting plate with 35mm square

Most tripods only come equipped with one mounting plate, but when I see the quick release camera mount for Ambico/Velbon tripod, I like the idea so much that I repurpose my Sigma EM-140 ring flash holder's camera holding part and add a foot that fits onto the tripod. Two versions of this object are available - a smaller version designed specifically for small devices such as flash units, and a larger version tailored to accommodate bigger devices like cameras. Required components (as seen in the photo) include: one "photo format" screw (1/4 inch diameter x 1/2 inch length), four M3 cylindrical head screws (16mm for the smaller version and 12mm for the larger version), four M3 nuts, and a single rubber washer seal (15x21mm for the small version or 20x27mm for the big one). Update on March 10th, 2016: An elongated version of the large version has been added, which offsets the camera by 64mm. This newer version requires an additional pair of M3 bolts. Print Settings: Printer: OverLord Pro Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Doesn't Matter Notes: I am facing a similar problem with this object as I do with the Sigma EM-140 ring flash holder: internal dimensions take precedence in most cases, but external dimensions play a crucial role here. To accommodate for this, I increase the diameter of the holes, which proves satisfactory... for me. If anyone has a solution to my design issues, kindly let me know in the comments. Post-Printing: Small thumb wheel box support removal Simply break the piece - it's quite straightforward. For added ease, use a cutter to soften the surface if necessary. Washer tap gluing Use cyanoacrylate glue and apply some pressure using a clamp to securely fasten the rubber washer seal onto the thumb-wheel box; this facilitates better camera stability.
