So I bought a cheap Skil router table SRT1039, but quickly found their adapter plate to mount the router only worked with fixed base styles. I wanted to use a cheap Bauer trim router I had sitting around, but wouldn't fit. That is why I made this adatper.I also have a Makita (RT0701C) and a Dewalt (DCW600) trim routers. The Makita and Bauer used the same hole patterns. Infact I could pretty much swap parts between the two. There was like a 1mm different in the diameter of the bodys. Even the collet was the same size threads. The Dewalt had it's hole pattern a little farther apart, so I make the adapter so it could fit it as well for the future. I would imagine there are other brands that it could be used for, just a mater of matching up the hole patterns. As you can see you still have to use the original metal plate if you want to lock it into the existing quick release. I do suppose you could skip that and just mount it directly and secure with boltes and nuts. This object was made in Tinkercad. Edit it online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/iyAmwzaPS9f
