This DIY system is created to efficiently grind ski wood core in line with the expected thickness curve. Two wood cores are ground simultaneously to produce almost identical skis, while a simple router handles the wood processing. The machine features a rectangular wooden base reinforced with an adjustable aluminum frame on each side. The U-shaped aluminum frame measures 20mm wide and 15mm high, and is supported by M7 screw rod components. Fifteen rod components are spaced 15cm apart and secured with four bolts per component. To operate the system: First, adjust each rod component's height to match your desired core thickness curve using a sliding caliper. Next, attach the two wooden boards to the base. Finally, manually move the router guide and crosswise along the router guide while operating the router.
