In my Extreme redesign challenge, I created an innovative ski pole handle that sets it apart from other handles in the market. This unique handle enhances skiing enjoyment and boosts skiers' happiness levels. It is a heated handle powered by batteries housed within the grip. The ski pole handle is made from ABS plastic, featuring buttons on top to control heat settings and switch on/off functionality. Inspired by cold-day skiing experiences, this heated ski pole aims to warm users' palms without thickening gloves or poles. Traditional hand warmers are either rear-mounted or inside gloves, causing gripping issues. Heated gloves also have similar problems – being bulky and expensive while only heating the hand area. However, my heated ski pole handle works with any glove type and fits standard ski poles, making it a versatile and cost-effective alternative to expensive heated gloves.
