Ski pole handle

Custom ski pole handle. I believe it's not the best idea to 3D print the handle directly; instead, I made a mold and used Modelite - while it can be somewhat brittle, if you get the entire pole length, it's strong enough. You could also use something like Silicone. You can customize the Inventor mold file, but it's simpler to update the pole adapter. I've included a customizer; just set the diameter to your pole size (in mm) - the adapter then fits in the mold and adds support to keep the pole level while the handle material hardens. The handle pairs with the basket to create a complete pole using any available pole materials. http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1296332 Print Settings: Printer: QU-BD Two Up Rafts: No Supports: No Infill: 30% Notes: The mold doesn't need to be particularly strong; I printed in PLA with a low infill. I used CuraEngine with no additional Adhesion. No support is necessary for the mold pieces if you orient so that the pegs are up; printing the handle directly would require extensive support - Resin printer might be better suited for that.
