Ski pole clip

Ski pole clip

When designing this clip, I had just snapped a similar clip from Thingiverse, the green one in the third photo. The clip needed some flexibility, so the design with an open middle was intended to allow for sufficient flex while still gripping the poles firmly. The joint in the middle may appear fragile, but using less material in that area actually reduces stress on the joint. I printed the clip at 100% infill, but I'm certain it will work just as well with less. The print time and material used printing with 100% are almost negligible anyway: 26 minutes and 2.18 meters with my FlashForge Finder. The ski pole clip is designed to be used in pairs. One clip should go near the top of the pole, and one near the lower third of the pole.
