Established in 1963, this world-class ski destination has captivated skiers from across the United States and serves as the primary employer for many Park City residents. The resort, known for its exceptional skiing opportunities, features multiple training courses for the U.S. Ski Team, including challenging slalom and giant slalom runs. During the 2002 Winter Olympics, Park City Mountain Resort proudly hosted snowboarding events and men's and women's alpine giant slalom competitions. In 2014, Vail Resorts acquired the resort and connected it with neighboring Canyons Resort via a state-of-the-art interconnect gondola, creating the largest ski area in the United States at that time. Today, Park City Mountain Resort remains an iconic winter sports destination.
