Made a ski kit for an RC Car because it was cheaper to buy the car rather than build a snowmobile control system. Shrugs "Go figure?"I'm waiting for another dump of snow to properly try it out. Skis steer OK on carpet, no steering on hardwood. Other, similar skis I tested steered well on snow.Based on earlier testing, this should bee good for up to 2cm of snow, and works well as a downhill-skier (take it to the toboggan hill!).The full-replacement rear wheel setup hasn't been tested yet, but based on earlier testing should be better (smaller contact diameter=lower starting torque).UpdateWe finally go another big dump of snow. Provided the batteries are well-charged, it seems to perform pretty well on a partly-shovelled deck. Best combo: skis + full wheel replacement (uses smaller wheel diameter for higher torque).
