Skewer Shooter (Toy Version)

I stumbled upon this fascinating project online and decided to create a miniature version for myself. It's capable of firing 3mm skewers at an impressive distance of 5 meters, making it an entertaining toy when I'm stuck on a design challenge. Please be aware that the skewers should not be loaded with the points facing forward before launching them out, as they could potentially cause eye injuries. The trigger and hammer springs used in this project can be sourced from various online retailers, including eBay, where you can find 10mm x 6mm x 19mm metal taper conical compression springs in silver tone for a reasonable price.
