When it comes to woodworking I am absolutely hopeless :D But I did need something to help me dry painted things like heads or hands, etc. so I used Fusion 360 to model a pair of simple stands that accommodate skewers with a 3 mm diameter. Problem solved…The smaller stand is for lightweight small parts. The bigger one can handle a bit of a weight as it's more stable so it won't tip over as easily as the small version.NOTE: The holes are 3.1 mm in diameter. You may need to grab a 3 mm drill bit and mend them if your skewers are a tight fit!
