Skew Test & Bed Level Test - for 220x220 (or bigger) bed size
thingiverse
In my H-bot printer I encountered some issues such as round circles being printed like ovals, straight lines not perpendicular to each other, and in general the axes were not perpendicular. I attempted to resolve this by installing a CoreXY mod, but now I must verify that the problems are solved, so I decided to design this simple test. This test can be used for three main purposes: 1. Check the perpendicularity of axes, measuring the diagonals. They should have the same size; 2. Check that print dimensions are correct, allowing you to fix the step/mm value in the firmware if necessary; 3. Check that the level of the bed is good in all the corners and center. It is designed to use a very small amount of plastic and printing time (about 6 grams of plastic / about 2 meters of filament, printed in about 20-30 minutes). This test is designed for a 220x220 bed plate (or bigger), because the maximum dimension of the external square is 200x200. The thickness of the print is 1mm, so please print it with a layer height of 0.2mm. Please follow us on social media to discover our new project first!
