Sketchy Physics SL Landing Carrier Free 3D model
cgtrader
This 3D model was originally designed using Sketchup 13, after which it was converted to various other 3D formats. Its native format is .skp, and the 3dsmax scene utilizes 3ds Max 2016, rendered with Vray 3.00. The landing craft was created for experimentation purposes with thrust physics in mind. While it can indeed fly, its thrust needs an increase to function properly in 1G gravity conditions, as currently set at only 0.3g. This vehicle can move in various directions: upwards, forwards, and backwards - albeit it is out of balance when flying reverse. Users must be aware that incorporating any load into the craft without proper balancing will cause tilting issues during flight. It took a significant amount of trial and error to perfect the thrust distribution; therefore, making even slight adjustments may require considerable tweaking until they are properly balanced. To fly this craft smoothly, extend its legs as wings while in forward flight, and adjust them downward for pitching down and upward for pitching up - taking into account their added weight. Also, when flying or during takeoff, set the legs to 0.5 on the slider to maintain a stable balance. It is a highly sensitive craft that demands precise handling.
