Skelly Oil Placard

Skelly Oil Placard

My dad worked for Skelly Oil corporate in the 1950's. He worked with Bill Skelly and the other two owners directly. Skelly Oil was absorbed into Getty Oil in 1974 and ceased to exist. Recently I was looking for a Skelly Oil sign to print as a refrigerator magnet. Nothing was available, even as line art, but I was able to locate a photo of a Skelly sign. After some cleanup I was able to create three versions of it for conversion to .stl and .gcode formats. Once painted and clear-coated for protection I applied magnetic tape to the back and it worked perfectly. You can get magnetic self-adhesive tape from almost any hobby store. If you prefer to convert it yourself I have included all three versions of the artwork and the original sign photo. I hope you like this. Thanks for looking.
