Skeleton Cam Case for RPi 0
thingiverse
Skeleton case for raspberry pi zero w and raspberry pi camera module v1.3. Open structure allows lots of air to circulate with space for a 6 mm heat sink. Uses the short pi zero camera ribbon that comes with the official pi zero case but there should be enough room to wrap a longer ribbon. Designed for use as my nature watch camera https://mynaturewatch.net. The 'ears' on the sides protect extending parts and provide points to attach the case to its surroundings. They also provide extra adhesion during printing preventing warping. To assemble I used tie wraps for the pi zero. The camera module has smaller holes so the wraps wouldn't fit but I had two nylon M2.5 bolts and nuts lying around. For nerds: the pattern for the holes is one of only 15 possible patterns to completely fill a surface using the same pentagon family five. http://mathworld.wolfram.com/PentagonTiling.html
