02/02/2015: Native files are online at github: https://github.com/Catastropheee/Skeleton3D MAJOR UPDATE 01/13/2015: V0.9 is available, it's a fixed design. BOM is on Github : https://github.com/Catastropheee/Skeleton3D There are two possibilities for the bracing: PLA triangle (not recommended for high-speed printing) Steel triangle (highly recommended) Wood and steel plate dimensions are online. 12/21/14: Little bug fixed. Files translated in English. MAJOR UPDATE 12/12/14: New support plate available now! Use these files : Plate_pusher, Z_left_support_plate, Z_motor_piece_1_2, Z_motor_piece_2_2, Z_right_support_plate, Z_support_plate_link and Z_top_connector. Improvement: -Support of the plate improved -Guidance and traction are now decoupled (Plate_pusher goes into Z_support_plate_link) UPDATE 12/08/14: We removed .stl files for 4-rods guidance, it caused more problems than solved them. We're working on a new version, a stable one, of the support plate. UPDATE 12/04/14: We added .stl files for 4-rods guidance on Z to avoid overhangs. I've uploaded a new version of the extruder with inductive sensor support! Now available on Twitter : https://twitter.com/Skeleton3D Follow us to get the latest updates! UPDATE 11/30/14: We added an inductive sensor for auto-leveling. Next week, we'll test these improvements and publish a new version if they're successful. UPDATE 11/29/14: I added a 3mm extruder but it hasn't been tested yet. Now working on guiding the plate, you can see our progress in the last picture! Our goal is to have 4-rods guidance on Z without overhangs. This improvement will stabilize Skeleton3D even more! Hi folks, This is our new project: Skeleton 3D Our target for this printer is to be: tiny compact (280x280x290) transportable (less than 5kg) good printing surface (100x100x100) easy maintenance easy to build inexpensive If you like the project, follow its evolution on : www.skeleton3d.fr (join our mailing list!) orhttp://forums.reprap.org/read.php?110,426848 The BOM is available at Github: https://github.com/Catastropheee/Skeleton3D Follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Skeleton3D
