02/02/2015 Native files are on github : https://github.com/Catastropheee/Skeleton3D MAJOR UPDATE 01/13/2015 : V0.9 is online. It's a fixed design. BOM is on Github : https://github.com/Catastropheee/Skeleton3D There are two possibilities for the bracing : - PLA triangle (not recommended for high-speed printing) - Steel triangle (highly recommended !) Wood and steel plate dimensions are online. 12/21/14 : A little bug has been fixed. Files have been translated into English. MAJOR UPDATE 12/12/14 : A new support plate is available! Use now: Plate_pusher, Z_left_support_plate, Z_motor_piece_1_2, Z_motor_piece_2_2, Z_right_support_plate, Z_support_plate_link and Z_top_connector. Improvements have been made: - Better support of the plate - Guidance and traction are now decoupled (Plate_pusher goes into Z_support_plate_link) UPDATE 12/08/14 : The .stl for the 4-rods guidance has been removed, as it generated more problems than solutions. We're working on a new version that's more stable of the "support plate". UPDATE 12/04/14 : The .stl for the 4-rods guidance has been added to Z to prevent overhangs. A new version of the extruder with a support for the inductive sensor has also been uploaded! You can follow us on Twitter: https://twitter.com/Skeleton3D to get the latest updates! UPDATE 11/30/14 : An inductive sensor has been added for automatic leveling. We'll test this improvement next week and if it's successful, we'll publish a new version. UPDATE 11/29/14 : A 3mm version of the extruder has been added (but hasn't been tested yet). We're currently working on a new version to guide the plate as seen in the last picture. The goal is to have a 4-rods guidance on Z to prevent overhangs and stabilize the Skeleton3D! Hi folks, Here's our new project: the Skeleton 3D Our goal for this printer is to be: - tiny - compact (280x280x290) - transportable (less than 5kg) - good printing surface (100x100x100) - easy maintenance - easy to build - inexpensive If you like the project, you can follow its evolution on: www.skeleton3d.fr (register for our mailing list!) or http://forums.reprap.org/read.php?110,426848 The BOM is available on our Github: https://github.com/Catastropheee/Skeleton3D Video : http://youtube.com/watch?v=IspkX2DEplI and http://youtube.com/watch?v=tBus38A5YRo and http://youtu.be/D_ilVG5S7Dk and http://youtu.be/p0MmEbIhgnk
