Skeleton 3d Print Bed Platform
thingiverse
This is a print bed bracket specifically designed for the Skeleton-3D printer. It enables users to secure a sheet of glass onto a spring-mounted platform, which is particularly useful when you don't have a PCB bed heater to attach. Additionally, if you plan to attach a 100x100mm silicone pad to your glass, consider modifying the bracket's SCAD file to eliminate the grid pattern, ensuring that the heating pad will clear the platform without obstruction. Currently, I am utilizing this bracket with PLA on a PEI sheet cut using a box cutter, and it has been working satisfactorily. The print bed is mounted on a 4.5"x4.5" glass sheet obtained from Lowes. The corner brackets provide a nut trap to hold the print bed steady while adjusting its position from above using a screwdriver. This bracket system wraps around the corners of the wooden piece that has been cut and drilled for the print bed, and users can modify the SCAD file to match the thickness of their wood plank. Enjoy using this print bed bracket! I hope it proves useful to many of you!
