Skeletal Cubes
thingiverse
Cubic skeletons revolved along their main diagonals to merge as one entity. To minimize overhanging edges, a plinth was added and the structure was positioned such that a diagonal pointed upward. Measuring approximately 7cm in height when printed on a Replicator using default settings, aside from an increased platform temperature of 110°C, full support (internal and external) along with a raft were employed for the printing process. Removing the support structures required patience and precision, tweezers, and an X-Acto knife; though it is possible to print with just external support, this has yet to be tested. The OpenSCAD generator file is included alongside the model.
