Skeeters A mutant giant mosquito miniature for 28mm games. Pre-supported and unsupported files included. Also includes a simple printable figure base. In the radiated post-apocalypse world of Gamma Terra, Mosquito Season brings a whole new level of terror! Their small vestigial wing-flaps still make the trademark buzzing sound…but now, when you hear that sound it could mean you will soon be impaled by a 2-foot long proboscis, and then have all your vital juices and organs sucked out in record time! Dark-Platypus Studio specializes in making models for role-playing game enthusiasts. Our models are designed to be printed in 28mm scale, the perfect size for Dungeons & Dragons, Pathfinder, or other games that are often played on a 1” grid. They are also designed to stand up to actual tabletop use: no ridiculous spindly bits that look awesome but are going to break the first time someone sneezes. Paintability and ease of assembly are also important concerns to our design aesthetic. I sculpted these Skeeter monsters for use in our Gen Con/Origins Mutant Crawl Classics adventure scenario ‘Bob-Dar and the Quest for the Golden Treat’, but they have never been released before now!
