SKD Beretta M92 upgrade spacer/ packing
thingiverse
6mm spacer for the SKD Beretta M92 gel blaster. This works similar to the Nerf penny trick, by adding more tension to the firing spring. I've fired a few hundred rounds with this upgrade and it has noticeably increased the number of Hertz doughnuts. I printed in PLA Flex to absorb some shock on the internal components. I don't feel the material should matter much. This was inspired by the knowledge of @Cruise from gelblasterforum.com.au (https://forum.gelblasterforum.com/t/skd-m92-spring-upgrades-and-180fps/3841) Steps to install:

Print with flat side on the build plate

(YELLOW) Push out locking block pin

Remove slide by sliding forward and lifting

(RED) Remove piston spring and piston

(BLUE) Insert spacer between the piston and spring (flat end of the spacer on the spring side)

Reassemble the M92

Please leave a comment if you have any feedback or projectile speed measurements.
