Skateboard Wall Shelf Adapter Brackets
thingiverse
Turn your old (or new) Skateboard into a wall shelf. Made this bracket up to use some cheap Skateboards as fun shelves for my kids.Simple to use:For flat headed screws/bolts (5mm) use the part without CS in it's name, and for countersunk, use the one with CS in the name.Print one as per the file, and a second as a mirror image.Remove the wheels from one side of the board.Remove the bearing and spacer from the wheels and fit these to the brackets.Bolt back onto the board with the wider spaced hole on the inside (hence mirrored parts), this will allow better access for a screwdriver.Drill holes in the wall 62mm apart for each bracket (measure you're board for the spacing between brackets).Fit with your choice of wall fixings depending on the wall you're fitting it to!I printed in PLA+ with the brackets oriented with the holes horizontal and didn't need any support. The part has been chamfered to make this printing orientation possible to reduce the risk of the part shearing along the layer lines and the board dropping off the wall.Post a make if you print your own!
