NOTE: This is a prototype model used for testing and demonstration purposes only. Never attempt to use these models in place of actual equipment, as they may pose safety risks if not handled properly. Use at your own risk. I created this weekend project to have some fun and take my mind off other projects I had been working on. To bring it to life, I printed both the base and hanger components, along with the bushings. The skateboard used as a reference was a budget-friendly one, from which I took measurements and utilized its existing screws, nuts, and washers. A 195mm long M8 threaded rod runs through the entire design, holding the wheel in place. I deliberately approached the orientation of this model differently, but you can print it with supports in any configuration you prefer. This particular model was printed using thick layers of Carbon Fiber infused Nylon, optimized for maximum strength and durability. Although the CF will provide some stability to the hanger, exposure to high impact may cause the nylon to flex, potentially leading to bending of the steel rod.
