This is the Housing for my Skateboard Speedometer. It's designed to fit perfectly on independent trucks. Check out this project on Hackaday: https://hackaday.io/project/10286-skateboard-speedometer-by-invented. The housing still needs improvement, so I'll experiment with different ways to secure it on the truck. In the final version, the lid will be screwed in place for added stability. As it turns out, various housings are needed for different truck companies. I printed this prototype using PETG at a 0.2mm layer height. It was a quick print since I'm just testing the design. The video was recorded before my printer was ready with the housing; however, I'll have more updates soon. Here's how I set up my printer: Printer: Rigidbot/Dudecube Rafts: No rafts were used. Supports: Yes, supports were added for extra stability. Resolution: 0.2mm resolution was achieved. Infill: The infill density is at 15%. How I Designed This This is a picture of my prototype, taken before I created the housing.
