I whipped up a quick prototype inspired by the "deck hook" (http://www.deckhook.com/shop/deck-hook/). I'm not even sure if I'll keep working on this since my eboard is really heavy (~7kg) and gets annoying when dangling around my back. It holds fine, but I haven't done any stress tests yet. I used 20mm double-sided velcro as straps and they seem to hold up just fine. This should work well for normal skate or longboards though.
