These risers feature a spacious interior that accommodates LEDs, batteries, charging boards, and switches, all of which can be securely screwed in as a riser between trucks and a board. The riser will be safely shielded by the base of the trucks, minimizing the risk of damage or destruction from collisions with curbs or other obstacles. A TP4056 is used to recharge a 350mAh battery that fits within the case, while a small slide switch enables users to easily turn power on and off. The PCB design will be posted once it's been completed. In version 2, the riser has been reduced in height to just .5 inches, making it closer to a standard riser size. For added rigidity, some of these risers were produced using silicone molds. However, they should also work well if printed from ABS or Nylon materials. A high infill percentage of at least 50% is recommended for optimal performance, especially when using the 3D printed versions. While PLA can be used, it's prone to breaking down and cracking over time.
