I'm excited to show off my recycling skills by giving an old skateboard a new life. First, I had to repair the wood by filling in any cracks that formed over time, polishing it until it shone like new, and then applying a varnish finish to protect it from the elements. My son was thrilled with the end result - he couldn't stop grinning from ear to ear! I'm glad I could breathe new life into an old board that might have otherwise ended up in the trash.
